On Saturday February 13th, I co-hosted a Galentine's Day Brunch in NYC. It was part of a multi-city celebration from a virtual connection circle that I am a part of. The connection circle is an amazing group of women from all walks of life that share, connect, and inspire greatness. The creation of the group was inspired by the
reciprocity ring concept. Thanks to
Amma Marfo for getting the group started and keeping us inspired.
I had never watched "Parks and Recreation" but have been a fan of Amy Poehler since Saturday Night Live. Galentine's Day, February 13th, is a day for "ladies celebrating ladies" that was introduced by Amy Poehler's character Leslie Knope.
